We are in New Jersey. We don't, or at least haven't, gotten earthquakes. What we do get are storms. Every winter we get snow, many years we get greater or lesser hurricanes. Occasionally, one or the other is bad enough to cause us to close the plant for a day or two. When we are forced to do so, we try to announce it on our web page. If the situation is so bad that we can't do that (or if the internet connection is dead), then you will probably have heard about it in the media.
If we are forced to close the plant, we do attempt to maintain communication, so feel free to send an email if possible, or call if you must.
