DFX DYNAMIC EFFECTS - A NEW DIMENSION
The H3500's 24 effects algorithms include pitch shifting, reverbs, choruses and delays that have set industry standards. Each of two Mod Factory DFX algorithms includes a full set of independent processing modules. Both include an LFO section designed for smooth autopanning, filter sweeps, etc. The modules can be patched together in any combination, using Mod Factory's effects programming software. Factory presets range from "ducked" delays to touch-sensitive choruses, flanges and reverbs that respond instantly to audio input level.
MORE PRESETS THAN EVER
In addition to the wide range of presets originally packed into the original H3500, this newly enhanced version adds almost 200 brand new musical instrument and effects presets from top artists and industry legends such as: Bob Bradshaw, Bob Clearmountain, John Cuniberti, David Holman, Henry Kaiser, Michael James, Mesa Boogie, Vernon Ried, Joe Satriani, Roey Shamir and Angela Piva of INFX Productions, and Steve Vai, among others.
NOW WITH 3D SPATIAL EFFECTS, TOO
Now incorporated into the H3500 are brand new, 3D speaker-based spatial imaging programs from Empirical Labs. The H3500's 3D spatial effects go beyond other processors by actually creating desired effects in space, not just adding a third dimension to already-processed sounds.
FULL SAMPLING CAPABILITIES
The H3500 gives you super sampling power with an internal sampling board and advanced sampling software. The unit can be ordered either with 23.8 seconds mono (11.7 seconds stereo) or 95 seconds mono (47.5 seconds stereo) sampling time. Eventide's world-renowned pitch change technology can be used in conjunction with sampling. "On-the-fly" time compression and expansion further increase flexibility. Use the H3500 as an ordinary sampler, or combine it with other functions (like the MIDI pitch wheel) for creative options no other sampler can match.
POWERFUL PITCH SHIFTING
The H3500 is the industry benchmark for glitch-free, full-bandwidth pitch shifting - with six ocatves of pitch shift capability. The Dynamics Ultra-Harmonizer effects processor features two full-function pitch change channels that can operate in phase-locked Stereo, Dual, Layered, Reverse or Multi modes. The H3500 will build virtually any kind of multi-layered stereo texture you can dream up - along with many you may never have imagined.
DIATONIC PITCH SHIFTING - AN EVENTIDE INNOVATION
This uniquely intelligent effect automatically turns any note into a musically-correct harmonic triad. If the score isn't perfectly in tune, you can still get perfect harmony: Just use the Quantize function to correct the output to the nearest even-tempered pitch. If standard 19th century harmony isn't your bag, create your own custom-mapping with User-Defined Scales.
STUNNING AMBIENCE, REVERBS AND EFFECTS
The H3500 gives you everything from smooth spaces and subtle ambience to funky percussive gates and unique pitch-shifted reverbs. VOCODER AND STRING MODELER
The H3500's Vocoder algorithm gives you yet another fast and easy way to produce rich background textures or to enhance tracks. And when you use it on synth or guitar lines, you'll discover new dimensions of expression - and rediscover classic sounds like the now-extinct "talk box." Or use it to "cross-synthesize" attributes of a strong track onto another, weaker track.
With String Modeler the "strings" are designed to be used as tune audio-triggered resonators. They can add a subtle harmonic ambience unlike any other effect. The strings can also be triggered by MIDI notes, enabling the H3500 to function as an auxiliary sound source.
UNIQUE FUNCTION GENERAT0R
The H3500's function generator operates like a synthesizer's LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator). But with 19 periodic or triggered waveforms - assignable to virtually any parameter of any program - plus pink and white noise generators, this fucntion generator can create sounds that must be heard to be believed. They include a wide range of sound effects that can be triggered from the front panel or MIDI, as well as autopans, ADTs, tremolos, unique chorus modulations and more.
CONTROL AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
The H3500 Ultra-Harmonizer effects processor fits the way you work, with displays that are easy to read and programs and presets that are easy to understand. The four Soft Keys are dynamically labeled to control specific functions in each program. For optimal control and convenience, there are four ways to enter data, including the famous "Eventide Knob." The Levels Key lets you adjust input and output. Mode keys include Program, Function and Parameter buttons.
POWERFUL OPTIONS
MIDI control possibilities include not only program change with mapping, but full real-time parameter control including input/output levels and effect in/out switching. Operation from any MIDI controller, automation from MIDI sequencers and MIDI data dumps to computer are all not only possible, but easy to implement.
Optional TimeSqueeze® automatically calculates pitch compensation and speed changes for full bandwidth stereo time compression and expansion (with phase-compensated mono capability). An optional internal hardware board provides automatic variable tape speed control with frequency-controlled tape decks and cart machines.
H3500-B BROADCAST/POST PRODUCTION
If your facility does radio, TV, or post production, there's now a version of the H3500 just for you. The H3500-B combines all the H3500 capabilities with the added broadcast and post production features of the well-known H3000-B Broadcast Ultra-Harmonizer effects processor. Standard TimeSqueeze internal hardware and software provides true time compression in stereo, so commercials are always the right length yet still sound natural. And the H3500-B's more than 70 preset sound effects and funny voices give air talent the ability to sound like a roomful of zanies and the flexibility to add custom bits of their own.
