Winter NAMM Booth #5791 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

EVENTIDE NAMES SWEETWATER SOUND 2006 DEALER OF THE YEAR

ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, January 18, 2007 - Eventide has named Sweetwater Sound its Dealer of the Year for 2006. Ray Maxwell, Eventide vice president of sales and marketing, presented the award to Sweetwater founder and president, Chuck Surack, who accepted on behalf of his entire staff at the 2007 Winter NAMM show in Anaheim.

In November, Sweetwater broke ground on a new complex being built on 44 acres, three miles away from its previous location. This ambitious project includes three main buildings connected by a "mall" area which will house a restaurant and many amenities for the staff, as well as customers and vendors. The complex will include a vastly expanded warehouse, administrative/sales offices, recording studios and a theater. Sweetwater has been in business for 27 years and hopes to complete construction in late 2007.

"Sweetwater has been an integral partner for Eventide for many years. Chuck's commitment to his staff and customers is unparalleled as evidenced by this ambitious expansion," stated Maxwell. "Over all, Sweetwater's exponential growth is a direct result of Chuck's vision and the hard work of Sweetwater's dedicated staff. We are honored to play a part in Sweetwater's success.

"Despite the fact that Sweetwater is one of the largest dealers in the United States, its service and staff remain among the best in the business," Maxwell said. "It is with a great deal of gratitude that I present Chuck, and all of the Sweetwater staff, with our Dealer of the Year award for 2006. On behalf of Eventide, I want to thank Chuck and his team for their hard work and the outstanding service they provide our customers on a daily basis. We are looking forward to another successful year with Sweetwater in 2007."

"In partnership with Eventide, we're able to provide the high-quality processors and plug-ins that today's musicians and producers need for their audio productions," said Surack. "We're honored to receive this award and to be recognized by Eventide, a company we hold in high esteem. Our shared success in 2006 was made possible by our dedicated staff and the innovative, industry-leading products that Eventide continues to introduce. We look forward to a prosperous relationship for many years to come."
