EVENTIDE INTRODUCES MediaWorks CLIENT SOFTWARE

New client makes call logging easier to manage and provides users with advanced feature set

ORLANDO, FLORIDA, August 6, 2006 - Eventide today introduced its new MediaWorks™ client software for its entire Linux-based, purpose-built product line: the VR725, VR778, VR615, and the DIR911t. The Eventide product line's functionality is enhanced by the introduction of MediaWorks which provides users with a dynamic layout and advanced control functionality that make Eventide's intuitive call loggers even easier to use.

MediaWorks' graphical user interface affords Eventide customers advanced levels of usability with an easy-to-use interface that displays all information on a single page. The GUI also includes a number of other new features, including: right-click functionality, column sorting, the ability to re-size windows to fit any screen type, customizable accelerator keys for efficient operation, and tabbed workspace navigation.

"The introduction of our new MediaWorks client software enables our users to unlock the true power of our voice loggers," said Eventide Communications Division general manager Gordon Moore. "Users will find it even easier to navigate call archives and quickly recall important information, especially in mission-critical call centers where every second counts."

MediaWorks features extensive search functionality allowing users to locate calls by an individual record parameter or by time of origin. The user can create play lists and/or associations between incidents and call records, then name and save those records. Play lists that are created are automatically populated into the graphical time line display. New playback functionality included in MediaWorks includes loop playback, speed control and talking time displays. Users also have the added ability to create reports, burn CDs or make .wav files directly from MediaWorks at any time.
