MINISTRY PREACHES THE GOSPEL OF THE EVENTIDE H8000A ULTRA-HARMONIZER

LITTLE FERRY, NEW JERSEY, February 10, 2005 - When it comes to staking out a distinctive, identifiable sound in music, few groups over the past two decades have driven the stake as deep as the industrial visionaries of Ministry. Founder and creative mastermind Al Jourgensen meticulously crafted his signature sound in studios and through nonstop touring using legendary Eventide equipment and now he his upping the ante with one of the first H8000A Ultra-Harmonizer® effects processors.

"The H8000A is the latest weapon in my arsenal and it's indispensable," said Jourgensen. "We log a brutal amount of hours on the road and need equipment that's as powerful as studio gear but accommodates heavy use. We have two H8000As now and they've become our most reliable road hogs."

Founded in 1981 by Jourgensen, Ministry held a cult following before stepping into the international spotlight with the 1992 release Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed & The Way to Suck Eggs. With instant hits "N.W.O." and "Jesus Built My Hotrod," Ministry defined the industrial music sound for mainstream audiences. An integral part of the sound was the Eventide H3000 Ultra-Harmonizer effects processor. Today, Ministry's Jourgensen relies on the latest and most powerful member of the Ultra-Harmonizer family: the H8000A.

The H8000A is a highly reliable road warrior featuring four channels of 24-bit analog I/O with a dynamic range of greater than 110dB. The H8000A offers four channels of AES/EBU, ADAT and S/PDIF, all 24-bit. The H8000A is the culmination of 33 years of effects development and comes loaded with nearly 1,500 of Eventide's best preset-algorithms.

"For over twenty years, I've been using Eventide exclusively for my effects processing," said Jourgensen. "It's a producer's dream. I never leave home without them."

"The H8000A is for customers who fell in love with the H8000 but need more analog I/O," said Ray Maxwell, Eventide vice president of sales and marketing. "We took the customers' feedback and developed the H8000A for discerning live performers, and we're honored to have Al, a longtime Eventide customer, as one of our first H8000A fans."
